I’m Gizem, a multidisciplinary designer with a background in Industrial Product Design and over seven years of experience creating user-centered solutions across physical products, visual communication, and brand development. My work ranges from designing hospital beds, play systems, and urban furniture to developing product families, catalogues, and complete corporate identities for brands like M-Style.

Throughout my career, I’ve focused on understanding user needs—collecting feedback, building prototypes, testing with real users, and refining designs to create functional, meaningful experiences. This human-centered approach has shaped the way I design, whether for physical products, communication materials, or smart urban systems.
I am now expanding my practice into UX and UI design, bringing with me a strong foundation in problem-solving, usability, visual design, and iterative development.
My goal is to combine my experience in tangible product design with digital tools and methods to create thoughtful, intuitive experiences that truly serve users.

Product Designer

I worked as a Product Designer at Promek Medical, which has a diverse range of products.
I started working here as a Junior Product Designer and developed myself into a senior Product Designer.
During my professional journey here I had the opportunities to work on tasks below:
- Collecting user feedback on existing products and identifying key problem areas.
- Developing solution concepts based on user insights.
- Designing new products, including hospital beds and over-bed tables.
- Creating catalogues and brochures to clearly and visually communicate product features.
- Building prototypes and conducting user testing to gather data and improve design solutions.
- Gathering feedback on newly launched products to guide future improvements.
PRODUCT DESIGNER

I started working at Arge Park Play Systems as a Product Designer.

- Designing new play systems such as climbing structures, rope elements, and swings
- Designing urban furniture and other outdoor equipment

INDUSTRIAL DESIGN SPECIALIST

I worked at Mitas Industry as Product Design Specialist.
As the design specialist, I was interested in many areas within MitaÅŸ Industry. While creating a more modern brand identity that states sustainability is the most important value in its products for the M-Style brand, I determined the design strategy for the M-Smart brand, which was established from scratch, and created a roadmap. I designed new products and product families as part of the roadmap. Some of the tasks I performed during my employment are as below:
- Developing the corporate identity for the M-Style lighting pole branch of Mitas Industry
- Designing new lighting pole product families from concept to final design
- Conducting market and user research to support design decisions
- Creating product catalogues and brochures for clear technical communication
- Designing a user-centered concept for next-generation smart streetlighting poles
- Creating prototypes and concepts demonstrating smart features and improving user experience
